At Planet Spices, we are committed to providing high-quality spices and herbs to our customers. If you experience any issues with your order, please review our return and refund policy below.
1. Return Policy
Returns are accepted only under specific conditions:
- Damaged or Defective Products: If you receive a damaged or defective product, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery. An unboxing video and clear photos are required as proof.
- Incorrect Product Received: If you receive the wrong product, it must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. The return request must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- Return Approval: All returns require prior approval. Please contact our support team before sending any item back.

We do our best to ensure our product images accurately reflect what you receive. Like most brands, our photos may be professionally enhanced for clarity, but rest assured, the quality remains the same. If you wish to return a product that is not damaged or defective, you are welcome to do so under our return policy. In such cases, return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility, and the item must remain unused, sealed, and in its original packaging. For international returns, we kindly ask that you use the same shipping carrier as the original shipment. If the order was shipped via private couriers like DHL or FedEx, returns should be sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to ensure all import duties and taxes are covered.
Non-Returnable Items
- Opened or Used Products: Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns for opened or used items.
- Change of Mind (If Used or Opened): Returns are not accepted if the product has been used, opened, or tampered with.
- Promotional & Clearance Items: Items bought on sale or during promotions are non-returnable.
Return Process
- Request a Return: Email us at planetspices@gmail.com with your order number, reason for return, and required proof (unboxing video and photos).
- Approval & Instructions: If approved, we will provide return instructions. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the issue is due to our mistake.
- Refund/Replacement: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a refund or send a replacement as applicable.
2. Refund Policy
Refunds will only be issued in the following situations:
- Damaged or Defective Products: The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with an unboxing video and photos as proof.
- Incorrect Product Received: If the product does not match what was ordered and the claim is verified.
- Order Not Delivered on Time (Our Fault): If your order is delayed beyond the estimated timeframe due to an error on our part.
No Refunds Will Be Issued If:
- The wrong shipping address was provided.
- The customer refuses to accept delivery.
- The package is returned because the customer did not claim it within 15 days of the first delivery attempt.
- The customer fails to pay customs duties, taxes, or import fees.
- Delays occur due to customs clearance, bad weather, natural disasters, or political issues.
3. Proof Requirement
To process any refund or return request, customers must provide an unboxing video showing the package being opened from its original sealed condition. The video must clearly capture the entire unboxing process to validate claims of damage, defects, or incorrect items.
4. Refund Process
- Request a Refund: Email us at planetspices@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with your order number, issue details, and proof.
- Review & Approval: Our team will review your request and respond within 1-2 business days.
- Processing the Refund:
- International Orders (USD Payments): Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.).
- India Orders (INR Payments): Refunds will be processed via UPI, bank transfer, or the original payment method.
- Timeframe: Once approved, refunds may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account.
5. Order Cancellations
- Orders can only be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, provided they have not been shipped.
- Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are not possible.
